Choco Mochido (Mochi Donut). For these mochi donuts, I've flavored the donut batter with chocolate. To make chocolate mochi cake donuts, mix in melted chocolate and baking cocoa to the batter. The combination of both allows for deep chocolate notes without compromising on the chewy mochi texture or moisture.

Add the powdered sugar and vanilla, stirring until smooth.

Made with silken tofu and glutinous rice flour, the texture is dense and chewy (some even describe it as "bouncy").

  1. Campurkan bahan A pada wadah tahan panas, kemudian kukus hingga menyerupai adonan mochi, sisihkan.

  2. Campurkan semua bahan B, aduk rata, sisihkan.

  3. Campurkan semua bahan C, aduk rata..

  4. Tuangkan adonan B ke dalam bahan C. Uleni hingga setengah kalis..

  5. Tambahkan adonan A yang telah dikukus, lanjutkan menguleni hingga benar-benar kalis..

  6. Bulat²kan adonan kemudian susun menjadi lingkaran atau boleh berkreasi sendiri..

  7. Goreng donat dengan api sedang hingga kuning kecoklatan..

  8. Lelehkan DCC dan margarin, kemudian celupkan donat yang telah digoreng pada coklat leleh. Diamkan hingga coklat mengeras..
